India's Space for Growth: Scindia Announces Satellite Communication Expansion

Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia made the announcement at MWC Barcelona that India is welcoming satellite communication players, with a focus on simplified regulations under the Satellite Communication Reforms-2022. Referring to India's leadership in emerging technologies such as 6G, AI, and Quantum Computing, Scindia also referred to the forthcoming India Mobile Congress 2025 (October 8–11) as a world platform for innovation. The reforms are aimed at inviting global players, increasing competition, and increasing rural connectivity with affordable services.
