India’s UPI Surpasses Visa, Powers Half Of Global Digital Payments In June

India’s Unified Payments Interface (UPI) has cemented its position as the world’s leading real-time digital payment system, clocking 18.39 billion transactions worth ₹24.03 lakh crore in June 2025.
