Jaishankar's Bold Vision: A United Front for the Indian Ocean's Well-being and Security

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar emphasized the common devotion to the well-being of the Indian Ocean region, addressing the 8th Indian Ocean Conference in Muscat, Oman. Amidst global uncertainties and tensions in West Asia and the Indo-Pacific, Jaishankar called for enhanced connectivity and collaboration among Indian Ocean nations. He underscored India's commitment to strengthening capabilities, forging partnerships, and providing leadership in the region. Jaishankar also pointed out India's contributions during the COVID-19 pandemic, including the provision of vaccines, medicines, and essential supplies. He stressed the importance of consultative and transparent connectivity initiatives for a shared endeavor towards stability and security in the Indian Ocean.
