Khairagarh Unveils Chhattisgarh's Largest Art Gallery Celebrating Tribal Heritage

Khairagarh, renowned for its rich cultural legacy, has inaugurated Chhattisgarh's largest art gallery, showcasing the state's diverse history, traditions, and tribal life. Located within the Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya (IKSV) campus, the gallery features an array of paintings, handicrafts, and sculptures crafted by university students. Notably, a clay artwork by student Muskan Parakh illustrates Bastar's Ghotul culture, depicting tribal youth in communal harmony. The gallery, named after esteemed folk artist Sonabai Rajwar, was inaugurated by Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, underscoring the state's commitment to preserving and promoting its indigenous art forms.
