Key Highlights:

Strategic Redistribution: Equipment including vehicles, compactors, street lights, steel pontoons, transformers, power poles, and water ATMs will be dispatched to various districts. Special focus is being given to regions like Varanasi, Gorakhpur, Lucknow, Chandauli, Ayodhya, and Mirzapur, enhancing both civic amenities and spiritual tourism infrastructure.
Boost for Pilgrimage Destinations: Notably, a steamer and changing room used during the Kumbh will be sent to Ayodhya to enrich the Sarayu river experience for pilgrims. Additional steamers and water ATMs are earmarked for Chandauli, Vindhyachal, Mathura, and Panki in Kanpur, supporting river tourism and public convenience.
Municipal Upgrades: All 17 municipal corporations in UP will receive supplies based on their needs, including 71,000 street lights, 150 waste collection vehicles, and extensive water supply infrastructure routed through the state’s Jal Nigam.
Healthcare Enhancement: Pathology lab machines and X-ray devices procured for the Kumbh will remain in Prayagraj, distributed among major hospitals such as SRN, Beli, and Colvin, bolstering local healthcare services.
Efficient Resource Use: This redistribution follows Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s directive to ensure optimal utilization of resources and extend the spiritual and developmental legacy of Maha Kumbh to every corner of Uttar Pradesh.

By repurposing Maha Kumbh assets, the state government is setting a new benchmark in sustainable event management and public resource optimization, ensuring that the benefits of this grand event are felt far beyond Prayagraj.
