Madhya Pradesh Lures Rs 21,000 Crore of Tech Investments

Madhya Pradesh has attracted 34 investment proposals worth Rs 21,000 crore in the technology and capacity building areas prior to the Global Investors Summit. This investment is likely to create almost 200,000 jobs in the state. The IT and IT Enabled Services sector takes the lead with Rs 5,500 crore in investments, followed by the Electronic System Design and Manufacturing sector with more than Rs 12,000 crore. The state has launched five new policies to entice tech firms and promote growth in sectors like global capability centers, semiconductors, drones, and biotechnology.
