Maha Kumbh's Grand Finale: UP Gears Up for Massive Maha Shivratri Snan

The state government of Uttar Pradesh is gearing up for the last sacred bath of the Maha Kumbh 2025 on February 26, Maha Shivratri. Already having seen an overall footfall of 59.31 crore and likely to reach over 60 crore by Sunday, the authorities are putting in place far-reaching measures to deal with the huge pilgrim rush. Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar Singh and DGP Prashant Kumar have themselves visited Sangam Ghats, paying special attention to crowd control, sanitation, and security. The government has increased vigilance against possible disruptions, including social media monitoring and filing FIRs against the spreaders of misinformation. As the world's biggest religious event comes to an end, authorities are making every effort to provide a seamless and secure experience to millions of pilgrims who visit the holy waters in search of spiritual cleansing.
