Meditation’s New Beacon: Raseshwari Devi To Lead 1,500-Seat Wellness Hub In Odisha

Spiritual leader Raseshwari Devi Ji has announced a 1,500-seat Yoga and meditation hall in Odisha’s Khurda district, alongside a mega meditation camp in Haridwar, as part of World Meditation Day 2026 initiatives. The projects aim to create a large-scale hub for meditation, yogic education and community wellness.

The upcoming Yoga and Meditation Hall, near Tangi close to Bhubaneswar, is being developed under Braj Gopika Seva Mission (BGSM), the spiritual and charitable organisation she founded in 1998. Designed for over 1,500 participants, the centre will host retreats, sadhana camps and value-based programmes, positioning Odisha as a key node on India’s spiritual and wellness map.

Raseshwari Devi’s Spiritual Journey

Raseshwari Devi Ji is an Indian spiritual leader and preacher of Sanatan Vedic philosophy, known for her teachings on Shri Krishna Bhakti, Upanishadic wisdom and meditation. Born in Bhilai, she studied Mathematics and English Literature before taking sannyas in 1988 under Jagadguru Swami Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj, dedicating her life to devotional and contemplative practice.

Work Of Braj Gopika Seva Mission

Through BGSM, Raseshwari Devi has led more than 300 spiritual programmes across 140 cities in 11 states, with a particularly strong presence in Odisha, where she has helped establish 21 centres for meditation and spiritual practice. The Mission combines spiritual discourses with education, healthcare and cultural initiatives, aiming to integrate meditation and value-based living into everyday life.

World Meditation Day 2026 Plans

For World Meditation Day 2026, BGSM has announced two flagship initiatives: the Odisha hall and a Haridwar meditation camp from June 11–17, expected to draw around 2,500 participants, including international attendees. The week-long camp will feature guided meditation, talks on yogic philosophy, and practical workshops on integrating meditation into work, family life and youth mental health.
