Mitchell Starc, Kuldeep Yadav Shine as Sunrisers Hyderabad Fold for 163

In an action-packed encounter, Sunrisers Hyderabad posted a competitive yet seemingly under-par 163 in 18.4 overs, with Mitchell Starc and Kuldeep Yadav wreaking havoc on their batting lineup.

After being put into bat, Sunrisers got off to a shaky start as Abhishek Sharma (1) was run out early. The aggressive Travis Head looked threatening with 22 off 12 balls, but Starc removed him before he could inflict more damage. Wickets continued to tumble as Ishan Kishan and Nitish Kumar Reddy departed cheaply, leaving Hyderabad struggling at 37/4.

Aniket Verma played a valiant knock, smashing 74 off just 41 deliveries with six sixes and four boundaries, providing much-needed stability. Heinrich Klaasen (32 off 26) also chipped in, but the lower order failed to contribute significantly.

Starc led the bowling attack with figures of 3.4-0-35-5, while Kuldeep Yadav’s economical 4-0-22-2 kept the pressure on. Axar Patel (4-0-43-1) was expensive but managed a crucial breakthrough.

With 163 to chase, the opposition will fancy their chances, but a disciplined bowling effort from Hyderabad could make it an intriguing contest.
