Modi Lands In Guwahati As Assam Gears Up For Grand NDA 3.0 Oath Ceremony

High-Profile Arrivals In Assam  

PM Modi reached Guwahati on Monday night and was received at the Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport by Chief Minister-designate Himanta Biswa Sarma and senior BJP leaders. Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP national president and several chief ministers and deputy chief ministers of NDA-ruled states, along with top Union ministers, are also expected to attend.  

Khanapara Ready For A Massive Crowd  

The oath-taking ceremony will be held at the Veterinary College Ground in Khanapara at 11 am, with elaborate security and logistical arrangements in place. Assam BJP leaders have indicated that over one lakh people are expected to gather, turning the event into a large public rally-style show of support for the NDA 3.0 government.  

Third Straight Term For NDA In Assam  

The BJP-led NDA recently secured a commanding mandate in the Assam Assembly elections, winning a clear majority and paving the way for a third consecutive term. Himanta Biswa Sarma is set to take oath again as chief minister, underscoring his central role in the BJP’s expansion and consolidation in the Northeast.
