Apollo Hospitals and drone technology firm TechEagle have launched India's first 10-Minute Diagnostic Drone Delivery (D3) service. Launched on February 28, 2025, the pioneering project is set to transform healthcare logistics by delivering liquid biopsy samples from collection centers to diagnostic laboratories in 10 minutes. The service employs AI-based autonomous drones, which enable quicker cancer detection and treatment. Apollo Hospitals Joint Managing Director Dr. Sangita Reddy stressed the future of drones in organ delivery and emergency medical deliveries. TechEagle CEO Vikram Singh Meena underlined the life-and-death nature of speed in healthcare logistics. This technology holds the promise to dramatically cut diagnostic delays and enhance patient outcomes.
