All Aboard the Om Express: Delhi Metro Rolls Out at 4 AM for Yoga Day

To ensure seamless travel for thousands of yoga enthusiasts, Delhi Metro will begin operations at 4 am on June 21, 2025—two hours earlier than usual—across all originating stations to mark the 11th International Day of Yoga. This special arrangement is aimed at supporting the city’s widespread yoga celebrations themed “Yoga for One Earth, One Health.”
 
Key Highlights:
 
•⁠  ⁠Delhi Metro trains will run at 30-minute intervals from 4 am until the regular timetable resumes, making it easier for participants to reach yoga venues across the city.
 
•⁠  ⁠The Delhi government has planned yoga events at 11 locations, while the main national event, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, will take place in Visakhapatnam.
 
•⁠  ⁠The synchronized mass yoga session, Yoga Sangam, will be held at over 1 lakh locations nationwide from 6:30 am to 7:45 am, reflecting the enduring popularity and unity fostered by yoga.
