Delhi University (DU) has officially launched its Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal for undergraduate admissions for the 202526 academic session, marking a significant shift toward a centralized and streamlined enrollment process.
Key Highlights:
-
Portal Activation: The CSAS portal went live on June 17, 2025, allowing students to register for UG admissions across 79 colleges under DU.
-
CUETBased Admissions: The admission process is entirely based on CUETUG scores, ensuring a meritdriven selection for over 71,000 seats across various programs.
ThreePhase Process:
-
Phase 1: Students must register on the CSAS portal, submit personal details, CUET roll number, and academic certificates.
-
Phase 2: Candidates will select their preferred courses and colleges, with eligibility determined by CUET scores and subject mapping.
-
Phase 3: Seat allocation will be conducted in multiple rounds, allowing students to accept, reject, or upgrade their offers based on availability.
Registration Fees: ₹250 for General/OBC/EWS candidates, ₹100 for SC/ST/PwBD applicants, with additional charges for ECA/Sports quota and performancebased programs.
TieBreaking Policy: For the first time, Class 10 scores will be considered in tiebreaking scenarios, ensuring fair seat distribution.
With this revamped admission system, DU aims to simplify the enrollment process, enhance transparency, and provide students with greater flexibility in course selection.
