Kia Sonet Achieves 5 Lakh Sales Milestone In India

Kia India has achieved a significant milestone with its popular compact SUV, the Sonet, surpassing 5 lakh units sold in the domestic market. Launched in September 2020, the Sonet quickly gained traction among Indian consumers due to its stylish design, feature-rich offerings, and multiple powertrain options.  

The Sonet has consistently contributed to Kia’s growth in India, accounting for nearly 35% of the company’s total domestic volumes. It has also maintained strong annual sales, crossing 1 lakh units for two consecutive years. Beyond India, Kia has exported over 1 lakh units of the Sonet to nearly 70 international markets, reinforcing its global appeal.
