Larsen & Toubro (L&T), a titan in India’s engineering and construction sector, has clinched a significant order for its Heavy Civil Infrastructure business, further cementing its leadership in large-scale infrastructure. The company announced on June 9, 2025, that it has secured a contract valued between ₹1,000 crore and ₹2,500 crore from JSW Energy for the execution of the 1,500 MW Bhavali Pumped Storage Project in Maharashtra.

  • Strategic Win: The project, spanning the Nashik and Thane districts, involves comprehensive civil works, including the construction of approach roads, upper and lower reservoirs, water conductor systems, pressure tunnels, and an underground powerhouse.
