Mahindra Aerostructures has signed a long-term deal with Aernnova Aerospace worth around $300 million. Under the agreement, Mahindra will supply metal sub-assemblies and components that go into Airbus and Embraer aircraft. These parts will be shipped to Aernnova’s production sites in Spain, the UK, Portugal, and Brazil.

This contract expands on a working relationship that dates back more than a decade. In fact, Aernnova had supported Mahindra early on, when its aerospace division was just getting started in India. The new deal marks a major step up. Alongside civil aviation programs, the supply list now includes components for Embraer’s C390 Millennium, a military transport jet.

Mahindra says this is about more than just fulfilling orders. The company wants to bring more of the manufacturing process to India, use more sustainable materials, and keep improving how the parts are made. Their CEO, Arvind Mehra, called it a “big milestone,” while Aernnova’s leadership described Mahindra as a reliable partner with the technical chops to handle complex builds.

The timing also matters. Global aircraft production is picking up again, and companies like Aernnova are looking for suppliers who can meet those demands without cutting corners.
