Western Railway’s Mumbai Division energized the Fit India Movement on June 8, 2025, by organizing a vibrant cycle rally under the “Sundays on Cycles” campaign, drawing enthusiastic participation and spreading the message of daily fitness across the city.

  • The rally was flagged off from Western Railway Headquarters at Churchgate, with senior railway officers, staff, and more than 100 participants—including a significant number of women—joining the ride, making the event both inclusive and lively.
  • Organized in collaboration with the Sports Authority of India (SAI) and the Western Railway Sports Association, the event aimed to promote health and fitness among railway employees and the general public.
  • The initiative echoed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s call, “Fitness ka Dose, Aadha Ghanta Roz,” encouraging everyone to dedicate at least 30 minutes a day to physical activity.
