Third and Fourth Mumbai Projects: The Navi Mumbai Airport Influence Notified Area (NAINA) is being developed as the “Third Mumbai,” anchored by the new Navi Mumbai International Airport. It will include themed zones like Edu-City, Sports City, and Innovation City. Meanwhile, the “Fourth Mumbai” is planned around the upcoming Vadhavan Port and a new Greenfield airport in Palghar, aiming to boost trade and logistics.

Navi Mumbai International Airport: Phase 1 is operational with domestic flights, and international services are expected by July 2025. The airport is designed to handle 20 million passengers annually in its first phase, easing pressure on Mumbai’s existing airport.

Mumbai-Pune Expressway Missing Link: A 13.3-km bypass with tunnels and cable-stayed bridges is set to cut travel time between the two cities to just two hours. The project is expected to be fully functional by August 2025.

Samruddhi Mahamarg and Coastal Road Projects: These are enhancing east-west and north-south connectivity, reducing congestion and improving commute times across the city.
