Odisha is preparing for a major transformation in healthcare delivery with the rollout of the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) pilot project in Keonjhar district, as announced by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi. The initiative is designed to digitize patient services, streamline hospital operations, and build a robust digital health ecosystem across the state.
The pilot will serve as a testing ground before the program is expanded statewide, ensuring that hospitals and medical staff are equipped to handle digital integration effectively. Alongside ABDM, the government is also introducing Diplomate of National Board (DNB) courses in District Headquarters Hospitals to enhance medical training and strengthen healthcare infrastructure.
