Big changes are coming to Gurugram. The city has lined up a series of infrastructure projects aimed at easing traffic, tackling floods, and improving daily commutes. With over ₹900 crore allocated, the plan includes everything from new flyovers to better stormwater drainage.

Here’s what’s on the cards:
  • - Five new flyovers are set to come up between Vatika Chowk and Ghata to ease jams along the Southern Peripheral Road
  • - A new 5.5 km elevated corridor will link the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway to the Dwarka Expressway
  • - Drainage in Sectors 21–23 is getting a major fix, with ₹70 crore set aside to rebuild parts of the old system
  • - Key junctions like Railway Road Chowk and Rezang La Chowk will get flyovers or underpasses to prep for the new metro line
  • - A new master road is planned between Sectors 78 and 80 to connect NH-8 to Naurangpur
Officials say this isn't just about infrastructure—it’s about keeping up with the city’s rapid growth and making life easier for people who live and work here. The projects are being timed to complement the upcoming metro expansion and hopefully prevent another monsoon season full of flooded streets.
