Updated: June 17, 2025 11:06

Air Montenegro has teamed up with RateGain Travel Technologies, selecting its AI-powered airfare pricing platform, AirGain, to improve pricing decisions and stay competitive in European markets.

The airline, which has been expanding rapidly since its launch in 2021, wants to make smarter, faster pricing adjustments based on real-time market trends. With AirGain, Air Montenegro’s revenue teams can track fare movements, benchmark prices, and react quickly to competitor shifts, helping them attract more passengers while maintaining profitability.

This partnership comes as travel demand across Europe surges, making dynamic pricing more important than ever. Air Montenegro recognized that traditional pricing methods weren’t enough and decided to adopt a data-driven approach to stay ahead.

AirGain’s platform pulls real-time competitor pricing data from airline websites, OTAs, and GDSs, giving Air Montenegro a clear view of market trends. The airline’s CEO, Vukadin Stojanović, said that staying ahead of pricing shifts is crucial for their expansion, and this collaboration will help them move from reactive to proactive pricing strategies.

RateGain’s Senior VP, Vinay Varma, noted that Air Montenegro is one of the first airlines in the region to adopt AI-powered pricing intelligence, reinforcing its commitment to market competitiveness and revenue optimization.
