Smriti’s father, Shrinivas Mandhana, experienced heart attack-like symptoms on the wedding day and was rushed to Sarvhit Hospital in Sangli. After receiving treatment and undergoing tests such as angiography, his condition stabilized, allowing him to be discharged.
Palash Muchhal was also hospitalized briefly, reportedly impacted by the stress of the situation. His mother confirmed that Palash, who shares a close bond with Shrinivas, decided alongside Smriti to put wedding rituals on hold until the families are ready.
In the wake of these developments, Smriti deleted all wedding-related posts from her social media, fueling speculation but prioritizing privacy during this challenging time. The couple’s relationship, blossoming since 2019, now awaits a future date to celebrate.
