During the meeting in New Delhi, Rubio emphasized the Quad is shifting from "talking points" to coordinated efforts. At the same time, Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar has referred to recent Quad-level talks as “very productive”, indicating that there are areas of convergence on issues concerning the region despite some differences.

The latest deliberations also brought in the private sector for deliberations on partnerships in the areas of clean energy, critical minerals and digital connectivity in the Indo Pacific.
