PM Gati Shakti Boost: CWC to Revolutionize India’s Logistics Sector

Central Warehousing Corporation is set to play a vital role in raising India's logistics costs from the current 13-14% to about 8%, which are at par with those of the international level. It is part of the National Logistics Policy and the PM Gati-Shakti Programme. Speaking at the 69th Foundation Day of CWC, Food Minister Pralhad Joshi pointed out that the CWC has become an active logistics service provider with more than 700 warehouses and a storage capacity of 14.829 million metric tonnes. The modern infrastructure and efficiency improvements of the corporation will help in certainly augmenting these efforts for further cost reduction.
