PRISM 2.0: A New Era of India-Australia Space Partnership

India and Australia are building their cooperation in space through PRISM 2.0 initiative . The recent webinar was on how to get the regulatory alignment and boost trade for satellite hardware, ground stations, and software services going. Also, Australia shall contribute to the Gaganyaan mission of India, particularly in providing astronaut recovery operations through its Cocos (Keeling) Islands ground station. Both sides are seeing a fast-growing space sector, with India to expand the sector to 44 billion US dollars by 2033. Cooperation also embraces mission support, export controls, and R&D investments. These strategic agreements will drive innovation and expand opportunities in the growing space-tech ecosystems for both nations.
