Profit Surges & Sector Surprises: LTIMindtree, Bajaj Housing Finance Headline a Thrilling Q4 Results Day

The fourth-quarter earnings season picks up pace today as 28 companies, including LTIMindtree and Bajaj Housing Finance, will release their quarterly results.

 

LTIMindtree is likely to report flat revenue growth in constant currency terms, with estimates at a marginal 0.2% rise after a 1.8% increase in Q3. The company's rupee revenue is seen increasing by 2.1% to ₹9,865 crore, while EBIT margin is likely to increase slightly to 14%. Profit after tax (PAT) is expected to grow 4.7% to ₹1,138 crore. Weakness in the travel and hi-tech industries has, however, dragged down performance, and the quarter will see the full brunt of productivity sharing with its largest client. Cost savings steps are likely to accrue to future quarters.

 

Bajaj Housing Finance will probably register strong profits, with the analysts expecting a 61% jump in profit to ₹613 crore and a 34% rise in net interest income to ₹844 crore. Assets Under Management (AUM) should rise by 5.6% quarter-on-quarter, and be on a healthy track. Operating expenses are expected to remain modest, and asset quality will continue to be stable.

 

Investors and market observers will keenly watch these announcements for sectoral hints and future projections.
