Rail Reliability Recharged: BCPL Wins Strategic Electrification Work

BCPL Railway Infrastructure Limited has emerged as the single lowest bidder (L1) for a Rs 42.51 million project in Eastern Railway’s Sealdah Division. The contract involves design, supply, and erection of 25 KV overhead equipment (OHE) and allied electrical works to enhance reliability across the division.  

The company confirmed that this development is part of its normal course of business, reflecting its continued presence in railway modernization projects. While the Letter of Acceptance is awaited, BCPL’s successful bid underscores its growing role in India’s rail infrastructure sector.
