Rebel Foods Defies Industry Trends: Reports 20% Growth Amid Food Delivery Slowdown

Rebel Foods, the cloud kitchen startup behind brands like Faasos and Behrouz Biryani, is bucking the trend in India's food delivery market. Co-founder Sagar Kochhar reports over 20% year-on-year Same Kitchen Sales Growth, contrasting with slowing growth at Zomato and Swiggy. Kochhar attributes this success to their multi-brand cloud kitchen model. The company expects to turn profitable next year ahead of a planned IPO. Rebel Foods recently launched "QuickiES," a 15-minute food delivery service, capitalizing on consumer demand for quick meals. With operations in 75 Indian cities and plans to expand to 150-200 by 2028, Rebel Foods is positioning itself as a major player in the evolving food delivery landscape.
