Rocketing Success: India's Satellite Launches Generate $143 Million in Foreign Revenue

India has earned $143 million in foreign exchange revenue through the launch of 393 foreign satellites during the period from 2015 to 2024. The satellites were launched aboard ISRO's PSLV, LVM3, and SSLV launchers. The U.S. had the largest number of launches with 232 satellites, followed by the U.K. with 83. India has emerged as a major player in the international space business, launching satellites for 34 nations. This success highlights India's increasing contribution to commercial satellite launch and its increasing involvement in the international space market.
