Room for Growth: India’s Luxe Hotels Set to Unlock 100K Keys in 5 Years

India's hospitality industry is in for a big growth, with global hotel majors planning to bring in over 100,000 more rooms under the luxury and mid-segment brands in the next five years. Indian Hotels Company Ltd (IHCL) is going to launch more than 30 new hotels in FY26 alone, in addition to its goal of more than 700 properties by 2030. Accor and InterGlobe have also joined hands to launch 300 Accor-branded hotels by 2030, boosting India's hospitality industry. This boost in luxury hotels is driven by growing demand from high-net-worth individuals and a booming tourism industry. The expansion is expected to create new employment and economic growth prospects in the sector.
