Samsung and LG Dominate Global TV Market: OLED and QLED Lead the Way

Samsung Electronics has maintained its global TV market leadership for the 19th consecutive year, capturing a 28.3% market share in 2024. The company's success is driven by its focus on premium and ultra-large screen innovations, particularly in QLED technology. Meanwhile, LG Electronics continues to dominate the OLED TV segment, securing the top position for 12 straight years with a 52.4% market share. LG's OLED TV shipments reached 3.18 million units last year, with a strong presence in the premium and ultra-large TV categories. Both companies are leveraging AI-powered technologies and expanding their product lines to maintain their competitive edge in the evolving TV market.
