Sanathan Textiles Threads Steady Growth As Profits Ease Off Highs

The company’s March-quarter and full-year numbers reflect a stabilising phase after a high-growth FY25, as margins normalise amid elevated finance costs and ongoing capex. Management continues to focus on value-added yarns, operational discipline and balance-sheet optimisation to navigate a competitive textile market and global demand uncertainty.  

Quarter Four Operating Snapshot  

In Q4 FY26, Sanathan Textiles reported total income of ₹1,175.2 crore, driven by robust domestic and export yarn sales and efficient inventory management. Profit before tax stood at ₹31.3 crore as higher raw material costs and finance charges partly offset operating gains, but working capital discipline supported cash generation.  

Full-Year FY26 Performance And Financial Profile  

For FY26, consolidated revenue rose to ₹3,830.6 crore versus ₹3,016.4 crore in FY25, aided by higher volumes and better product mix. Annual PAT, however, moderated to ₹77.4 crore from ₹160.5 crore due to increased interest costs, depreciation from new assets and softer realisations across select yarn categories.

• Q4 FY26 PAT at ₹21.6 crore; FY26 PAT at ₹77.4 crore, with EPS of ₹9.16 for the year

• Yarn manufacturing remains the sole reportable segment, with management emphasising premiumisation, export growth and disciplined capital allocation
