Smooth Landings Guaranteed: Airports Invest Millions in Operational Upgrades

As part of efforts to improve airport operations, several aviation authorities have in recent times tendered for total maintenance and operation services. The Airports Authority of India floated a contract for routine maintenance of airport systems on March 3, 2025. In the same vein, the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority has renewed a 10-year contract with Crystal Mover Services Inc. for operating and maintaining the AeroTrain APM system at Washington Dulles International Airport. These agreements, concentrating on key domains like equipment upgrading and 24/7 operation support, mark an increasing shift in the aviation sector towards subcontracting expert services to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
