Strategic Location & Scale

The terminal spans over 30 acres of land and strategically placed to link with major industrial hubs, including Morbi's internationally renowned ceramic cluster and Maliya's salt industry zone. This location provides easy access to road and rail networks to enable quick movement of cargo across the region.

Multi-Modal Capabilities:

The complex is capable of accommodating wagon rake and container systems and a high mix of cargo volume and container types. Expansion in the shape of an inland container depot and further warehousing facilities is planned.

Boost to Regional Industries:

Key sectors such as fertilizers, chemicals, agriculture, ceramics, and MSMEs will be the major gainers of faster and more streamlined logistics. The terminal will be able to reduce turnaround times, lower operating costs, and enhance supply chain security for Gujarat businesses and businesses in the country as a whole.

Part of National Gati Shakti Expansion

The launch is achieved under a larger national program with over 77 Gati Shakti terminals already operating and 200 to be planned along India's dedicated freight corridors. The government remains committed to increasing the proportion of freight transported by rail and decongesting the road network, stimulating economic growth and sustainability.

Recent Achievements for WCIL: This comes on the heels of the recent ₹558 crore logistics contract win by WCIL from Jindal Stainless Ltd, reaffirming its leadership in the integrated logistics business and its focus on servicing India's industrial ecosystem.
