UPMRC To Launch National Common Mobility Card On June 15

The NCMC, backed by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, is part of India’s push toward integrated urban mobility. With this rollout, Lucknow and Kanpur metro passengers will be among the first to benefit, setting the stage for wider adoption across the country.  

How The Card Works  

The NCMC can be used for metro rides, bus fares, toll payments, parking, and even retail purchases. Linked to the RuPay platform, it ensures interoperability across multiple services, reducing the need for separate cards or cash transactions.
