Ritika Mehra and Vishal Mehra, husband-and-wife co-founders of Stylox Fashion, launched the brand in Gurugram in 2019 after identifying a glaring gap in India's denim market. Starting as a B2B manufacturing venture, Stylox pivoted to a franchise-first D2C brand, expanded to 59 stores across India, raised ₹3 crore from the Fashion Entrepreneur Fund on Pitch to Get Rich, generated ₹11 crore in FY25 revenue with a 64% CAGR, and is targeting 500 stores by FY30.
Gurugram, a Denim Gap, a B2B Beginning, and a Pivot That Changed Everything
Ritika Mehra and Vishal Mehra co-founded Stylox Fashion in Gurugram in 2019 as a husband-and-wife entrepreneurial partnership with a founding insight that was both simple and commercially precise. India's denim market had a structural gap: premium brands delivered exceptional quality but priced out the mass consumer, while affordable brands used substandard materials that resulted in poor fit and short product lifespan. Nobody had built the middle path well.
"We started Stylox with denim because we noticed a clear gap: good-quality, well-fitted jeans at the right price were hard to find," the founders say. "Ultimately, Stylox isn't just about jeans. It's about building a brand that stands for attitude, aspiration, and empowerment for both our customers and our business partners."
The brand began as a manufacturing-first B2B venture, supplying denim to retailers across North India and building the production expertise and supply chain relationships that would later power its retail expansion. Over the past three years, the company nearly doubled revenues year on year, laying a solid foundation for the next growth phase. The private limited corporate entity Stylox Fashion Private Limited was incorporated on April 18, 2023 with CIN U14101HR2023PTC110852 registered under ROC Haryana.
FOFO and FICO Models, New Collection Every 10 Days, Tier 2 and Tier 3 Cities, 59 Stores, and 64% Revenue CAGR
The boldest business decision Stylox made was to build its retail network on a dual franchise model rather than company-owned stores. Operating through both FOFO (Franchise Owned Franchise Operated) and FICO (Franchise Invested Company Operated) formats, the brand achieved faster geographic penetration with lower capital requirements while simultaneously creating a network of invested local partners who understood their markets intimately.
The fast design cycle reinforced the franchise model's appeal. Stylox launches a new collection every 10 days, ensuring stores always have fresh inventory and customers always have a reason to return. That speed-to-shelf advantage is built on in-house manufacturing and a scalable supply chain giving Stylox direct control over design, production, and delivery timelines.
The strategy proved particularly powerful in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, where demand for value-driven fashion is surging. From 50 stores at the time of the Pitch to Get Rich pitch, Stylox expanded rapidly to 59 stores across India by April 2026 after opening 37 outlets in FY 2025–26, including 8 new stores in March 2026 alone. The latest expansion wave included four store launches on March 31 in Wagholi and Moshi in Pune, TexValley in Erode, and Vizianagaram in Andhra Pradesh, with additional outlets opened across Jabalpur, Nashik, Udupi, Shaheen Bagh in Delhi, and Bhagalpur.
Stylox Fashion Private Limited achieved a 64% revenue CAGR in the last financial year, confirming the momentum behind every expansion decision. The brand also launched a completely refreshed D2C website alongside expanding across Amazon, Myntra, and Flipkart.
"While denim continues to remain our core strength, the brand today represents a much wider menswear vision," the founders say.
A significant brand credibility milestone came with the investment and association of Bollywood and Punjabi icon Sukhbir Singh, whose trendsetting style and massive following among fashion-forward consumers provided unmatched visibility. The brand distributes across Myntra, Amazon, Flipkart, Ajio, Styli in the UAE, and its own website stylox.in.

The Pitch to Get Rich Moment and the ₹3 Crore That Accelerated Everything
Stylox Fashion appeared on Pitch to Get Rich on JioHotstar, the fashion entrepreneurship reality series hosted by Karan Johar with judges Akshay Kumar, Manish Malhotra, and Malaika Arora, competing for a share of the ₹40 crore investment pool.
"Hearing feedback from icons like Akshay Kumar and Manish Malhotra reaffirmed that our creative and consumer direction is hitting the right note. We are designing for aspiration but pricing for accessibility, and that is what modern India wants," the founders said.
Stylox raised ₹3 crore from the Fashion Entrepreneur Fund in October 2025, confirmed on October 22, 2025. The capital is being deployed to expand retail presence, strengthen D2C infrastructure, and accelerate omnichannel growth.
"Our rapid store expansion reflects the strong demand we are witnessing across emerging markets. We believe the future of fashion retail lies beyond metro cities. Our focus remains on making quality, affordable fashion accessible on the high streets of smaller cities while building a profitable ecosystem for our partners," the founders say.

The Most Powerful Consumer Brands Are the Ones That Make Premium Feel Accessible and Accessibility Feel Premium
The sharpest lesson from Stylox Fashion's journey is this: the most enduring and scalable consumer fashion brands in India are the ones that refuse to accept the premise that quality and affordability are opposites, and build the manufacturing and franchise infrastructure to prove it.
Ritika and Vishal Mehra identified the denim gap in 2019. They built manufacturing knowledge before the brand. They chose franchising over company-owned expansion because local ownership produces local relevance. They launched a new collection every 10 days because fashion is driven by freshness. They expanded to 59 stores across cities from Delhi to Pune to Erode to Vizianagaram because they believed the future of fashion retail lies beyond metro cities.
"Our business is proudly rooted in India but ready for the world," they say.
From B2B supplier to 59 stores. From 59 to 100. From 100 to 500 by FY30.
