The National Centre for Seismology confirmed that the epicenter was near Jurm, Afghanistan. The quake’s depth and location in a highly active seismic zone triggered tremors across neighboring countries, including Pakistan and India.

Delhi-NCR: Strong jolts prompted residents to evacuate homes and offices.
Punjab & Haryana: Cities including Chandigarh and Ludhiana reported tremors.
Jammu & Kashmir: Srinagar, Poonch, and Udhampur felt noticeable shocks.
Other regions: Dehradun and Noida also reported brief shaking.
