A Day of Joy: 51 Couples Tie the Knot Under Punjab's 'Dhi Rani' Welfare Program

In a heartwarming event held in Multan, the Punjab government's 'Dhi Rani' program facilitated the marriage of 51 couples, including one from the Christian community. Each bride received a dowry package valued at PKR 206,000, comprising essential household items such as a Holy Quran, prayer mat, wooden double bed with mattress, mirror, and dinner set. Additionally, a cash gift of PKR 100,000 was provided to each bride through an ATM card. The ceremony also accommodated 20 guests per couple, ensuring a dignified celebration. This initiative underscores the government's commitment to supporting underprivileged families in fulfilling matrimonial obligations with honor.
