Adorable Debut! Two Sloth Bear Cubs Charm Visitors at San Diego Zoo

The San Diego Zoo is celebrating the birth of two sloth bear cubs, born to first-time mother Shala on December 6, 2024. After several weeks of bonding in their private den, the cubs have made their public debut, delighting visitors with their playful antics. Sloth bears, native to South Asia, are known for their distinctive long claws and shaggy fur. The arrival of these cubs marks a significant milestone in the zoo's conservation efforts, contributing to the preservation of this unique species.
