Air India and Lufthansa Group Expand Codeshare Partnership, Increase Routes to Nearly 100

Air India has significantly expanded its codeshare agreement with Lufthansa Group carriers, including SWISS. The partnership now covers nearly 100 routes, enhancing connectivity between India, Europe, and Australia. Lufthansa and SWISS passengers can now seamlessly connect to Sydney and Melbourne via Delhi and Mumbai on Air India flights. The collaboration also includes new codeshare routes to Nepal and select domestic Indian destinations. This expansion marks a deepening of ties between the airlines, with industry experts viewing it as a strategic move capitalizing on Air India's ongoing fleet refurbishment and improved services. The partnership is set to reshape international travel dynamics between India and Europe.
