Alkem Seals the Deal: Adroit Biomed Acquisition Set to Revolutionize Skincare Portfolio

Alkem Laboratories Ltd has executed a share purchase agreement to acquire 100% stake in Adroit Biomed Limited, a move that's set to transform its presence in the dermatology and cosmetology sectors. The ₹140 crore deal, announced earlier this year, is now in its final stages with the transaction expected to close by April 1, 2025. Adroit Biomed, known for its innovative skincare brands like Glutone and SkinFay, reported a revenue of ₹53.55 crore in FY2024. This strategic acquisition will significantly expand Alkem's dermatology portfolio and enhance its market penetration. The deal aligns with Alkem's growth strategy, allowing it to tap into the rapidly growing skincare market and strengthen its position as a key player in the pharmaceutical industry.
