All Aboard for a Long Night: Mumbai's Local Trains Take a 13-Hour Detour! "Here's what you need to know

Western Railway will run a 13-hour mega block between Grant Road and Mumbai Central stations from 10 PM on March 1 to 11 AM on March 2, 2025, for re-girdering of Bridge No. 5. 168 suburban trains will be cancelled and all fast line trains will be short terminated to slow lines between Churchgate and Mumbai Central during the time. Certain Churchgate-bound trains will be short-terminated or turned back at Bandra and Dadar stations. Passengers are requested to contact station masters for minute-by-minute information on train timing and cancellations. This disruption is likely to have a considerable effect on local train services, inconveniencing passengers for the duration of the disruption.
