Ashok Leyland Secures ₹2.98 Billion Order for 320 BS VI Buses from Tamil Nadu

Ashok Leyland, India's leading commercial vehicle manufacturer, has clinched a significant order worth ₹2.98 billion from Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation for 320 BS VI buses. This latest win builds on the company's strong performance, with Q3FY25 seeing a 31% jump in net profit to ₹7.62 billion and record-breaking revenue of ₹94.79 billion. The order reinforces Ashok Leyland's dominance in the domestic MHCV market, where it maintains over 30% market share. With a focus on sustainable growth, the company continues to invest in electric and alternate fuel technologies while expanding its global footprint, particularly in the GCC region.
