Bengal's Pride, Oxford's Guest: West Bengal Chief Minister, Mamata Banerjee Set to Inspire Global Minds

Recently, West Bengal Governor CV Ananda Bose has stated that he is proud of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee visiting Oxford University. He said that it is a matter of pride for the whole state that the Chief Minister will be speaking to students at Oxford University. He also stated that there will be an opportunity to promote Bengal's culture and intellectual ability to the world. He also said that he was expecting to see a lot of different topics addressed about Bengal's socio-economic progress and the Chief Minister's vision of how she wants to see Bengal in the future. In the past, the Chief Minister has expressed a willingness to collaborate on the various projects and programs happening at Oxford with universities in West Bengal and the degradation of our academic relationship with such a highly regarded university has improved and will only get stronger as a result of this visit. Although the Chief Minister has not provided a date for her visit, I am pleased to see that much has already been put in place for this visit to occur.
