Bengaluru Experiences Unseasonal Chill as First Rainfall Hits City

Residents of Bengaluru woke up to a winter-like morning, with temperatures dropping to 21.4°C—7.1°C below normal—after the city's first significant rainfall of the season. The refreshing weather, courtesy of a cyclone brewing off the coast of Sri Lanka, has turned the city into a hill station. The India Meteorological Department said light rain is expected in some areas but most of Karnataka will remain dry. Locals are enjoying this unexpected turn of events, making for a lovely beginning to the week.
