Bengaluru Unveils Innovative Traffic Police Museum and ASTraM App to Revolutionize Road Safety

Bengaluru has taken a significant step towards enhancing road safety and traffic management with the inauguration of the Traffic Police Museum and Experience Centre. Launched on January 29, 2025, by Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara, this unique facility showcases the evolution of traffic management in the city, featuring vintage equipment and interactive displays aimed at educating visitors about road safety. Alongside the museum, the new ASTraM mobile app offers real-time traffic updates, accident reporting, and fine payments, making it a comprehensive tool for commuters. These initiatives aim to foster greater public engagement in traffic management and promote safer roads in Bengaluru.
