Looking back on his film success, Hrithik initially spoke of his father, Rakesh Roshan, who had directed his first film Kaho Naa. Pyaar Hai in 2000. "Rakesh Roshan—that dream came true in the very first go," he stated. Changing topics to the future, Hrithik spoke of Nolan's films and referred to him as one of his favorite directors. "Now, I'd actually want to work with Christopher Nolan," he continued, to applause from his audience.

Well-known for playing complex characters in films like Super 30 and Guzaarish, Hrithik's interest in Nolan follows his interest in intelligent stories. Hrithik is professionally preparing to direct Krrish 4, his directorial debut. He will also play a role in War 2, alongside NTR Jr and Kiara Advani, which will be out on August 14, 2025.
