Budget 2025-26: A Balanced Approach to Development and Welfare

The Union Budget 2025-26, presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, showcases the government's commitment to both development and welfare. With a theme of "Sabka Vikas," the budget aims for balanced growth across all regions. Key highlights include a 37.25% increase in funding for women and child development, a ₹11.21 lakh crore capex expenditure, and significant allocations for rural transformation. The budget also focuses on agricultural growth, MSME support, and manufacturing expansion. Welfare measures include enhanced credit through KCC, a comprehensive program for vegetables and fruits, and a substantial boost to tribal welfare with a 231.83% increase in allocation since 2014-15.
