The much-awaited construction of the Satwari to Last Morh Gandhi Nagar flyover in Jammu finally started on March 11, 2025. The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is developing the project, which is hoped to ease congestion on this significant route. The flyover will run from Satwari Chowk to Last Morh, enhancing connectivity and reducing travel time for commuters. In order to ensure seamless construction, traffic police have put out a diversion plan, advising residents to use alternative routes. Authorities are attempting to reduce inconveniences while ensuring timely project completion. This flyover is one of the several infrastructure development projects in Jammu, including the Rs 143 crore Tawi River Front Project, which is to be completed by April 2025.
