Cabinet Approves Maharashtra AI Policy To Empower Citizens With Jobs And Innovation

The AI policy is designed to democratize artificial intelligence by making it accessible to individuals, businesses, and communities. It emphasizes ethical and inclusive adoption, ensuring that AI strengthens India’s digital economy while improving everyday life for the masses.  

AI For Citizens  

The policy will establish AI Centres of Excellence and Innovation Cities, enabling access to advanced technology for businesses and communities. Citizens will benefit from AI-driven healthcare diagnostics, smart education tools, and efficient governance services.  

Jobs And Skilling Opportunities  

With 1.5 lakh jobs projected by 2031, the government will train two lakh youth and professionals in AI. Individuals can enroll in these programs through state-run institutes and online platforms, preparing them for high-demand roles across IT, manufacturing, healthcare, and agriculture.  

Support For Startups And MSMEs
